New Zealand Cricket (NZC) recently came forward to announce Scott Weenink as their new chief executive of the board. It is worth noting that Weenink was on the New Zealand Cricket Players Association board, and he will step down from the role after his new appointment. As a result, the 61-year-old is only the fourth chief to represent New Zealand cricket after the Hood Report recommendations were adopted by the coveted cricket governance body, back in 1995.
