KUALA LUMPUR: Phase 3 of Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) Keluarga Malaysia payments will be credited in stages into recipients’ accounts starting tomorrow. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the payments, to benefit some 3.6 million households and also those whose appeals had been successful, were expected to be fully disbursed by Sept 30. In a statement yesterday, he said the phase 3 payments would involve an allocation of RM2.82bil. Payments are made according to marital status, total household income and number of children, he said. “Further details on the phase 3 of the BPR payments will be worked out by the Finance Ministry.
