THE Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is encouraging business operators to renew and pay for their business permits and licences online to reduce physical contact amid the Covid-19 pandemic. “This can be done through the Ezy MBSJ portal at https://ezy.mbsj.gov.my/,” said MBSJ Corporate and Strategic Management Department deputy director Azfarizal Abdul Rashid in a statement. “The online renewal is only for licences not deemed high-risk (such as healthcare centres or massage parlours).”The steps to renew a licence with MBSJ are as follows:> Visit https://ezy.mbsj.gov.my> Look for the licence category> Enter the licence/permit account number in the search field and press the search button> Press select to pay button> Check the amount to be paid and press the pay button on the cart> Review and confirm payment details by clicking on the proceed button> Complete payment through the selected payment medium> Print and keep the licence certificate (using white paper or any suitable colour)For renewal and payment of licences and permits under high-risk or temporary categories, Azfarizal said this could be done through the Ezy MBSJ portal only after the application documents were reviewed and updated by the city council’s Licensing Department.
