Speaking to VietNamNet, school principal Nguyen Tai Quyen said the issue arose from internal reports concerning the midterm and final exams of the first semester in the 2025–2026 school year. After receiving the initial report, the school formed an internal inspection team to verify the claims. A total of 33 teachers were found to have modified 126 exam scores.
