In recent years, the coastal village has become popular with holidaymakers exploring the quiet beaches that surround the Welsh Coastal Path. Married couple Elizabeth and Harry Broughton, who are among the permanent residents in the area, said houses in the village were 'pretty sought after'. No-one here, just the odd walker - that's it'So it's a sad village really and probably will never change. Within 10 years there probably won't be anyone local living here - the future of Cwm-yr-Eglwys is as a holiday place.'
