Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, inaugurate the new Egyptian embassy headquarters in Rabat – Moroccan Foreign MinistryCAIRO – 9 May 2022: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, inaugurated on Monday the new Egyptian embassy headquarters in Morocco’s capital, Rabat. Shoukry, during the inauguration, affirmed Egypt’s keenness to enhance relations with the sisterly Morocco, urging continued support to the Egyptian community residing in Morocco. Shoukry held a meeting with Bourita on Monday during the former’s official visit to Rabat. In a joint press conference with Shoukry, Bourita stressed his country's support for all efforts exerted by Egypt to protect its security and stability. An agreement has been reached to hold a political consultation mechanism soon and promote economic cooperation in the various spheres, said the Moroccan foreign minister.
