Photo: PIDSUNAMGANJ, Jan 11, 2026 (BSS) - Primary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder today said the government is taking special measures to reduce the dropout rate among primary school students. The adviser made the remarks while visiting several primary schools in Madhyanagar upazila of his home district Sunamganj. In the morning, he visited Golha Government Primary School in his native village under Sadar Union, Jamsherpur Government Primary School and Madhyanagar Bazar Government Primary School. Regarding the school feeding programme, Prof Bidhan said all primary schools across the country would be brought under the programme gradually.
