Reds 40 – 34 Chiefs: The Queensland Reds held off a late surge from the Reds to win 40-34 at the Country Bank Stadium, Queensland. Finally, Reds held on strongly in the last five minutes to secure the first win for an Aussie team in the Trans-Tasman Tournament.
