The United National Party (UNP) has informed the Election Commission regarding their National Seat in the parliament. Party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe was previously nominated for the vacancy. Accordingly, a letter stating the former Prime Minister is named to occupy the National Sea vacancy was handed into the Commission today.
