Uprising partners should all be in parliament to bring real changes: Nahid IslamNational Citizen Party (NCP) Convenor Nahid Islam has said that all participants of the July Uprising should be in the next parliament. He made the remark on Friday afternoon at the launching of the University Teachers' Forum at the Shamsur Rahman Auditorium of Bangla Academy. Nahid Islam declared his commitment to get a legal basis for the July Charter and move towards the next elections. Nahid said that uprisings, elections, and consensus commission would yield nothing without having some real changes in existing systems. Professor Sirajul Islam of Dhaka University has been named as convener of the newly introduced University Teachers' Forum while Dr. Shamim Hamidi of Dhaka International University was appointed as the member secretary.
