The National Assembly approved the Capital Law on November 21, 2012, which came into effect on July 1, 2013. The Municipality is also working with the Ministry of Justice to establish a drafting team for the amended Capital Law. Hanoi has outlined nine key policy directions for the revised Capital Law to speed up the city's sustainable development.
