In Libya, Wagner troops are supporting the powerful militia leader Haftar in the east of the country. Russia has never officially admitted it, but the existence of Wagner mercenaries in Libya is an open secret. Wagner mercenaries are said to have supported him – as snipers, operating the artillery and anti-aircraft. According to Lacher, Wagner pilots flew fighter jets that were stationed in central Libya. For this reason alone, Moscow will continue to take care of the Wagner mercenaries in Libya in the future.
