CAIRO-11 September 2021: Zamalek defeated arch-rivals Al Ahly 28-27 on Friday night to win the African Handball Super Cup title after an exciting match. “The African Super Cup is a special title. We did not have a good start to the game but we had the upper hand in the second half.” Zamalek captain Ahmed El Ahmar said after the game. Zamalek managed to win their 7th African Handball Super Cup title and they will represent Africa in the upcoming IHF Super Globe, scheduled in Saudi Arabia next October. We will do our best in the game and we will try to win.”The African champions will participate in the IHF Super Globe for the fifth time in the club’s history.
