Earlier in 2016, the Spanish High Court threw out a case that alleged fraud in the Brazil international's transfer from Santos in 2013. Barca agreed to pay a fine of €5.5million in order to close legal proceedings but the situation is seemingly not at an end yet, with La Liga seeking more details from the club. "Following widespread media reports, La Liga confirms an informative hearing will be launched with FC Barcelona in relation to the agreement reached between the club's board and the Spanish Public Prosecutor's Office in the Neymar legal case," read a statement from the Spanish league's office. The deal exonerated former president Sandro Rosell and current chief Josip Maria Bartomeu of blame, which drew criticism from former president Joan Laporta who claimed "the honour of the club is at stake".

This decision taken by the regional authorities follows the discovery, a week ago, of the death of over 5,000 chickens on a farm in the area. The public authorities thus feared the start of a new bird flu epizooty, after the one of May 2016, which spread to five regions in Cameroon. It officially led to losses of approximately FCfa 10 billion in the Cameroonian poultry sector, according to the Poultry Association. To recover from this bad situation, the Cameroonian Poultry Association (Interprofession avicole du Cameroun - Ipavic) recently expressed needs for 20,000 tons of maize and funding approximately worth FCfa 450 million to purchase phytosanitary products.

According to official statistics, roughly 20,000 tons of certified cocoa were exported by Cameroon during the 2015-2016 season, which ended in July. This production is an increase of 100% compared to the previous season, at the end of which 10,000 tons of certified cocoa were exported from Cameroon, against 5,400 tons only during the 2013-2014 season. Quick calculation, the production of this cocoa following specific requirements determined by consumers, tripled in Cameroon during the last three seasons. As an example, over the last three seasons in Cameroon, Telcar Cocoa, on its own, distributed over FCfa 1.5 billion in premiums to certified cocoa producers.

Aguero stepped up to send Sommer the wrong way to double the lead and the Borussia goalkeeper was then forced to keep out a stinging Gundogan drive. Four minutes into the second half, Sommer fumbled a deflected cross from Jesus Navas, but made amends with a magnificent reaction save to deny Aguero his hat-trick after Sterling kept the ball alive. Sommer was responsible for it not becoming a chastening evening for his team-mates, as he outwitted Sterling in a one-on-one and denied Aguero once more.
