A Kings Mountain woman who served as a youth leader at a church has been charged with felony child sexual offenses, according to Kings Mountain Police. “On July 28th, 2023, Kings Mountain Police Department Criminal Investigation Division (CID) received a report of a sexual assault on a minor,” a press release said. Kings Mountain Police said the investigation is still ongoing by special victims detectives. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is encouraged to contact the Kings Mountain Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division 704-734-0444 or submit a tip through Cleveland County Crime Stoppers P3 Tip App. In a Facebook post on the youth ministry’s page from May, Justice introduces herself as a youth leader at New Life.

He was born in Chatham, ON, but made Nova Scotia home for the majority of his life. He moved to Nova Scotia to work for the Department of Development, where he met his wife of 29 years Catherine "Cathy" Olna Ball. He is survived by son, Michael; daughter, Suzanne; and son, David (Sherri). He is also survived by his grandchildren, the light of his life: Katie, Meghan and Joshua. As per his wishes there will be no funeral but a private celebration of life at a later date.

Residents in parts of southern Ottawa are left picking up debris after a tornado tore through the area Thursday evening.
