Ghana Catholic Bishops' Conference (GCBC) has called for a reduction in the number of vehicles used as convoys for presidential and ministerial purposes. The Conference also requested a downsizing of the Akufo-Addo-led government, as well as, leaders of State-Owned Enterprises. The Catholic Bishops' Conference also charged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to show commitment in the fight against corruption. The Conference asked President Akufo-Addo to ensure that all misappropriated funds cited in the Auditor-General's report were retrieved through appropriate means. Meanwhile, Most Reverend Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi has been elected as the new President of the Conference.

The five pupils reportedly died on the spot following the accident which occurred on Friday, November 11, 2022. Samuel Bryan Buabeng, a presidential staffer, has accused investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas of being corrupt stressing that people now know him for who he is. In a tweet critical of the journalist, Buabeng cited how other journalists engaged in whistleblowing did not cover their faces yet carried out their work. Former President, John Dramani Mahama, has asked the government to halt the proposed building of constituency offices for MPs until the economy is out of the woods. In a Facebook post, Mahama mentioned that in the interim office spaces can be found within the District Assemblies or other government buildings for the purpose. “The proposed building of Constituency offices for MPs should be shelved until the economy is out of the woods. Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, has said one of the Akufo-Addo-led initiatives - One District One Factory (1D1F) - will be scrapped if the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) wins the 2024 general elections. Kwabena Agyepong who served as Press Secretary to former president John Agyekum Kufuor between 2001 and 2006 has said he declined a ministerial appointment offered to him by his boss after serving for almost six years. The decision to not accept the appointment, according to Kwabena Agyepong was informed by the quest to exit from the administration and focus on some other equally important activities. “I just felt I had to leave politics, so, although the president called me and offered me a deputy ministerial position, I respectfully declined.”Sharing his work experience with the former president, Mr. Agyepong told Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show that his boss was indeed a diplomat.
