Pollster Ben Ephson, has predicted that developments in the Volta Region will negatively impact the National Democratic Congress’ 2024 election outcomes, if not checked. However, according to Mr Ephson, it lost votes in the area by 6.6% in the 2020 elections. Three minority MPs including the minority leader Haruna Iddrisu, Minority Chief Whip Muntaka Mubarak and the Ranking member on the finance committee Dr. Casiel Ato Forson are expected to appear before the ad-hoc committee set to probe the Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta in the vote of censure motion. Co-chair of the committee KT Hammond in an interview hinted that the hearing of the committee will be made public to the media. A member of the committee also disclosed that the three minority MPs will appear before the committee with their testimony when they are called upon. The formation of the Ad-hoc committee is to give the Finance Minister, an opportunity to respond to the allegations levelled against him in a vote of censure motion. This was after the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu earlier moved the motion on a vote of censure against the Minister.

Minister for Works and Housing, Francis Asenso-Boakye, has disclosed that a private sector developer has assumed control over government's Saglemi housing project. According to him, the developer will be in charge of selling the housing units when completed. "We’re allowing for a private sector developer to take up the initiative to build and sell the housing units,” he stated. The Housing Minister noted that a committee will be commissioned to guide the process and ensure transparency in the bidding process. The Saglemi housing project which commenced in 2012 under the NDC government aimed at building 5000 housing units.

Ghana Catholic Bishops' Conference (GCBC) has called for a reduction in the number of vehicles used as convoys for presidential and ministerial purposes. The Conference also requested a downsizing of the Akufo-Addo-led government, as well as, leaders of State-Owned Enterprises. The Catholic Bishops' Conference also charged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to show commitment in the fight against corruption. The five pupils reportedly died on the spot following the accident which occurred on Friday, November 11, 2022. Per information available to GhanaWeb, five of the critically injured including the driver of the blue 207 Benz bus have been referred to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital whilst one has been referred to the Sunyani Regional Hospital. According to eyewitness accounts, the school driver lost control of the vehicle due to the curvy nature of the road. Samuel Bryan Buabeng, a presidential staffer, has accused investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas of being corrupt stressing that people now know him for who he is.
