Riders star Marcus Gilbert passed away aged 67 on Sunday following a three-year battle with throat cancer. During the course of his life, the star tragically lost his first wife Homaa to pancreatic cancer in 2020, when she was just 60 years old. Prior to his fame, there was tragedy in Marcus' life from the beginning after his dad George and his grandparents all passed away on the same night when he was just 12 years old. Homaa died after undergoing an operation to remove pancreatic cancer, leading to complications and a five-week stay in an Intensive Therapy Unit. During their time as a couple, Marcus also said goodbye to his beloved dog Delilah in November 2024.
