At first, it's all picture-perfect family life. It's the image of a man embracing life beyond the boxing ring, swapping the brutality of the sport for the comforts of Morecambe Bay. Training sessions intensify, he's shown coaching his sons, and in one clip, he steps into the ring to spar with brother Tommy Fury. It's a glimpse into the very real strain his comeback places on family life, despite the glitz and glamour surrounding them. Everybody cut me off,' Fury said of the fallout after he chose to end yet another retirement and fight again.

The NFL Players Association has named retired offensive lineman JC Tretter as its next executive director just months after he resigned in scandal, saying he didn't 'have anything left to give the organization.' But on Tuesday in San Diego, player representatives from each team elected Tretter over interim executive director David White and American Conference commissioner Tim Pernetti. '[The] decision reflects the responsibility our Board of Player Representatives carries on behalf of every player,' read the NFLPA statement. 'We have utterly failed the union and its members today by voting in JC Tretter as executive director,' the player told The Athletic. Tretter now embarks on his tenure as the NFLPA's fifth executive director, following Howell, DeMaurice Smith (2009-2023), Oakland Raiders legend Gene Upshaw (1983-2008) and Ed Garvey (1971-1983).

No indication of when energy price hikes measures will be introducedBy Bairbre Holmes, Press AssociationThe Government “will act” on rising energy costs, the Minister for Justice has said, but could not indicate when that will happen. Jim O’Callaghan was speaking on behalf of the Government at Leader’s Questions in the Dáil on Wednesday. “So it’s blindingly obvious what you need to do, cut taxes on petrol, on diesel and home heating oil. And any measures introduced will be “targeted at individuals who need them the most”. He said “in recent days” energy minister Darragh O’Brien “wrote to retail electricity and gas suppliers, as well as fuel suppliers to emphasise the importance of reducing the exposure for Irish consumers from the price shocks created by geopolitical events”.

Once top-secret CIA files have detailed America's plans to control the world by manipulating the weather. One post on X claimed: 'The CIA has been poisoning the sky and controlling the weather since 1965!' Johnson's endorsement of the CIA's weather modification project came just three years after he gave an ominous speech on the future of America and the work to create 'weather satellites' with the power to strengthen storms. While giving the commencement address at Southwest Texas State University in May 1962, then-Vice President Johnson said: 'He who controls the weather will control the world.' The US government has maintained that weather modification has been used only to help weaken dangerous storms and induce rain in drought-stricken areas.

Spectacular footage has captured lava from a volcano on a French island making contact with the ocean for the first time in years. Since the Piton de la Fournaise volcano erupted last month on Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean, molten rock has been slowly creeping towards the shore. The scalding lava vaporises the water into steam, casting mystical shrouds back over the island, while the rock solidifies and grows the size of the island. Mesmerised crowds have gathered to watch the natural phenomenon, which the island has not seen for almost 19 years. They are using drones and thermometers - applied directly to the lava - to track its flow and measure its temperature.

‌Gunners No2 Kepa, who is set to play in the Carabao Cup final, believes success in the Carabao Cup final can give them a taste for winning - and put them in the mood for more success. ‌Arsenal are nine points clear of City at the top of the Premier League, they are into the Carabao Cup final and have a quarter final FA Cup tie at Southampton ahead of them. ‌Kepa, the penalty shot-out hero in the quarter final win over Crystal Palace, will bring his own experience into the game and is preparing to relish the opportunity. Obviously, it’s going to be a tough game, a very difficult game, but we’ll go for it. I have played in the League Cup final before, but I have played many finals in my career, I have been lucky in that way.
