The government has announced it is open to a new investor taking up the expansion of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) following the cancellation of the Adani-JKIA deal. He explained that the Adani deal was structured as a Privately Initiated Partnership (PIP), which allowed for termination at any time. The Head of the Multinational Security Support (MSS) mission in Haiti, Godfrey Otunge, has assured Haiti citizens of continued police efforts to eliminate gang violence in the Caribbean nation. The update comes amid an operation against the dreaded Haiti gang leader Jimmy Cherizier alias Barbecue. While the Viv Ansanm gang leader narrowly escaped a police bullet, however, the officers were able to kill two gang members. Selling Chrome would also deprive Google of a rich source of information used to train its algorithms and promote its other services like Maps.
