Leaders from 10 countries and the European Union will “forge a common understanding of AI safety and align their work on AI research," the British government, which co-hosted the event, said in a statement. Three school-going children died on Tuesday after they drowned in a dam in Kathiani, Machakos county. The girls drowned in the Kwa Munyenze Dam in Koma Kathiani subcounty Tuesday evening. The young girls are said to have been washing clothes at the dam when they tragically met their deaths. Katumbi said the Form 1 girl was a student at Kinyui Girls High School while the others were learners at a local primary school. To avert such tragedies, the administrator advised parents against sending their children to dams unattended warning that dams are at this time full of rain water.

Kenya Power has scheduled power interruption in four counties on Wednesday.
