A 14-year-old boy died instantly after being crushed against a gate pillar while hanging out of a school bus in Kimende, Kiambu county. The body had visible injuries when it was discovered and moved to the mortuary pending investigations, police said. In Nkondi, Tharaka Nithi county a 12-year-old Grade 6 boy at Kiorimba Primary School drowned in a local river. Police said the boy drowned in River Kathita as he and his friends swam. His motorcycle was also torched in the Sunday drama before the body was moved to the mortuary pending postmortem and other investigations.
