Eleven staff of the company who had gone on vacation prior to the coronavirus outbreak in Liberia are expected to return to Liberia. Of the 97 Turkish expatriates, 54 were from MNG Gold mine site in Kokoyah Statutory District, Bong County while 43 from its Liberty Gold Mine site in Grand Cape Mount County. He made the disclosure on Monday when he dedicated a lavatory facility that was built as part of projects carried out from the US$3,000 donation he makes to the Montserrado County every month. The US$3,000 he gives to the county every month is part of his US$8,000 monthly salary and benefits as a lawmaker. During his political campaign to become Senator for Montserrado County, Dillon promised that he would not need more than US$5,000 as salary and any amount above that would go to the county to fund development projects. MONROVIA – A United Kingdom-based non-governmental organization, Life for African Mothers (LFAM), has aided Liberia’s health ministry’s fight against the coronavirus by donating a consignment of medications worth 75,000 British Pounds. Speaking earlier, Life for African Mothers’ Country Director Abdul Fayiah Bah said he is overwhelmed by his organization’s continued contributions to his country. He applauded the British Government and the international health partners for promptly coming to the aid of Liberians through LFAM.
