KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 7): The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) will not compromise on any form of misconduct or disciplinary breach amid allegations of unauthorised entry and immoral activities at a military camp. RMAF Chief Gen Datuk Seri Muhamad Norazlan Aris said a thorough investigation was underway and that stern action, including dismissal from service, would be taken against those found guilty. “Stern action will be taken in accordance with service regulations to safeguard the image, dignity and professionalism of the RMAF,” he said in a statement Wednesday, while expressing regret over the allegations. Muhamad Norazlan stressed that any form of immoral conduct within air bases was strictly prohibited, as it tarnished the image and dignity of the RMAF, adding that he viewed every issue involving the discipline and integrity of officers and personnel very seriously. However, the distribution will still be implemented concurrently with the AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) private placement. PUTRAJAYA: The Home Ministry will implement MyDigital ID as a sole sign-on platform for Malaysians accessing the National Integrated Immigration System (MyNIISe) mobile application beginning Jan 15. In a statement on Tuesday (Jan 6), the ministry said that foreign travellers will continue to use the existing login method for the MyNIISe application without any changes. It said that the implementation of MyDigital ID as a single sign-on system is part of the NIISe initiative, which aims to verify user identities accurately and securely through the National Registration Department database, without storing users’ personal data. The ministry also encouraged Malaysians aged 18 and above to download and register the MyDigital ID application, available on the Apple App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery, before using MyNIISe. The ministry said the implementation of MyDigital ID in MyNIISe reflects the Madani Government’s ongoing commitment to modernising public services through secure, efficient and people-centric digitalisation, aimed at enhancing user confidence and convenience in immigration-related matters.
