The President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping has arrived in San Francisco, U.S., to attend a summit with President Joe Biden. The Summit is also the 30th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders’ Meeting that started on November 14 and will end on November 17. In a statement on Wednesday, Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., Xie Feng, said that Xi arrived on Tuesday afternoon local time. The National Assembly complex in Abuja has been finally shut down by organised labour groups in protest of the manhandling of the national president of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero. French shipping company, CMA CGM, has reported a 94.5 per cent drop in net income in the third quarter of 2023. The shipping company in its recent report on Monday, titled, ‘Third quarter 2023 financial report’, sighted by The PUNCH, said that it revenue within the period under review, stood at $11.4bn.
