At the end of the Cavan county final last October, Sam Barnes of Sportsfile took a photo of Jordan Morris being lifted into the air by a Kingscourt Stars panel member. Elevated above a pack of his team-mates and the celebrating Kingscort public, the image was also a symbol of an ideal that Cavan football craves but cannot have.
