Dr Anthony Papathomas, Reader in Mental Health in Sport and part of Loughborough University’s Women in Sport Research and Innovation Hub, explained disordered eating in athletes and how we must collectively change perceptions. “I’ve spoken to athletes who would think that if they eat a Mars bar, it would be immediately visible on their body,” he explained. Iran has today admitted its nuclear facilities were 'badly damaged' by US bombs after Donald Trump insisted they were 'obliterated' and lashed out at 'fake' news coverage suggesting he failed to deliver a knock-out blow. Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei conceded there had been significant impact caused by American bunker-busting bombs at the country's three main nuclear sites at Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz. It comes after Trump insisted the nuclear facilities were 'obliterated' and compared his airstrikes to the two nuclear bombs dropped on Japan at the end of World War II. Meanwhile NATO chief Mark Rutte suggested Donald Trump dealt with Israel and Iran's war in the Middle East like a 'daddy' who uses 'strong language' to stop two children fighting in a schoolyard. Trump yesterday shared private messages from Rutte which also showed him gushing over the 'extraordinary' US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, which the US leader said 'obliterated' the sites.

When NATO leaders meet at The Hague on Tuesday, there will be much talk about President Trump and his efforts to contain Iran. But Russia will be the elephant in the room. For NATO, the looming issue is Russia, which is at the heart of the meeting focused on increased military spending. But it, too, will be an awkward backdrop as the member countries tiptoe around the American president, with his notably ambiguous relationship with Moscow. Mr. Trump has demanded that NATO members spend a lot more money on defense, but he doesn’t say what that new spending is for.
