Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr Baidoo indicated that the Foundation had so far registered close to 1000 persons unto the NHIS since its inception. On Education, he said the Foundation had rendered immense support to brilliant but needy students in the Shama District, to help ensure absolute improvement of their academic performance. He said the Foundation hoped to extend its support and social intervention activities to other Regions to push the agenda of growth and development. Mr. Amenga, therefore, advised farmers to cope with the situation, stressing the government was working strenuously to provide subsidies to make the prices of agriculture inputs affordable. Mr. Amenga explained that the implementation of the PfFJs had significantly increased food productivity in the Region, indicating that the programme had motivated many farmers to expand their farm work. Mr. Amenga said the PfFJs had introduced farmers to food productivity enhancement technologies as well as made available hybrid and improved seeds to farmers. While lauding the drastic impact of the programme in the agriculture sector in the Region, the Regional Director advised farmers who were yet to register with the programme to do so to access the benefits.

He said successive governments had failed to rehabilitate the road, despite its economic benefits, saying President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government deserved praise for the progress of work on the stretch. In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Monday at Daadom, a farming community in the Sunyani Municipality, Mr. Takyi who is also the Chief Farmer of Daadom, said the farmers in the area would forever be grateful to the President. The farmer expressed the hope that work on the project would be completed to facilitate the movement of the farmers and their economic activities. Mr. Takyi also applauded the government for the Planting for Food and Jobs (PfFJs) programme, saying its implementation had helped many of the farmers to expand their farming activities.

Madam Annan noted that "our national values for justice, equality, inclusion, tolerance, fundamental human rights and freedoms as stipulated by the 1992 constitution, eschew all forms of discrimination, enhance regional, continental and global cooperation to achieve national cohesion". He said the NCCE through the youth engagement programme was offering citizens the opportunity to follow due process to address whatever they perceived to be a problem. Mr. Francis Acquay, Chief Inspector of the Sege District Police Command, also urged the youth to inform the police on time before organizing any special event.

The Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Iddi Seidu, also addressed the indiscipline and disregard for traffic regulations within Zongo communities in the country. Agyekum said the complainant, Kuualong Donirima, said on August 29, 2021, at Talekura, the suspects, together with two others, who are on the run, fully masked and armed with guns and cutlasses, robbed him of his gold detecting machine. The two suspects were later spotted with the machine in Maluwe and were arrested.
