Speaking outside court today, Gunn clarified her comments that recently made headlines, in which she predicted her party would win two million votes in the October 14 general election. Gunn said she thought there were at least 700,000 special votes to be counted at a “conservative estimate.”The Electoral Commission reports there are 567,000 special votes still to be counted. She said she had received several phone calls and messages from her voters who said they had placed special votes.

James Shaw and Marama Davidson were joined by 13 other Green Party members in Wellington today. Speaking in front of Parliament, neither Shaw or Davidson were able to confirm if they would stick out the full term as co-leaders. “Still decisions to be made,” said Davidson, who entered Parliament in 2015 and became female co-leader in 2018. The company, which supplied its products to major operators like The Iconic and David Jones across Australia and New Zealand, succumbed to financial pressures and went into voluntary liquidation. On 10th October, Shane Deane and Nicholas Giasoumi from insolvency firm Dye and Co were appointed as liquidators, marking the company’s formal step into the process of liquidation. Nobody Denim’s financial woes have translated into a substantial debt of US $ 3.6 million, with a significant portion, US $ 2.64 million, owed to its manufacturer, Denim 108, as per reports. Queensland-based Outland Denim has acquired Nobody Denim and retained five employees, ensuring the continuation of the business under new ownership.
