Addressing a press conference in Islamabad today, Sanaullah said the state’s efforts against terrorism could not be publicised as it would compromise its success. “But this should not be taken to mean that nothing is being done,” the minister said, adding that tremendous efforts against terrorism were underway and the nation should rest assured about the matter. Sanaullah said the NSC meeting had concretely decided that talks about any concerns or issues would only be held with the Afghan government.

The impromptu meeting between the two teams happened on Tuesday night in a match that saw Bartram Trail top P.K. Yonge won't have to see Bartram Trail again this season as the two programs compete in different classifications. However, since Bartram Trail previously played Lakeland Christian this season, the Blue Wave is able to use Tuesday's loss as a measuring stick. Lakeland Christian won the Class 3A state title last year, which is the same classification the Blue Wave competes in.

The recent attacks by the TTP on the civilian CTD centre in Bannu are the latest incident. The group’s attacks have killed and injured thousands of innocent civilians, including women and children. Pakistan needs to adopt the following strategy:First, no mercy should be shown to the TTP as it poses a serious threat to national security. If left unchecked, the TTP could potentially destabilise the country and undermine the government’s ability to maintain order and security. The TTP is a major obstacle to the development and progress of Pakistan.

Share:KABUL - The Afghan Taliban administration on Sunday rejected Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah’s remarks pertaining to outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan’s (TTP) hideouts in Afghanistan, calling them ‘provocative’ and ‘baseless’. In an interview with a private TV channel last week, Sanaullah had said that Pakistan may target TTP militants in Afghanistan if authorities in Kabul did not take any action against them. “Afghanistan is our brotherly country and we will first talk to them to dismantle the TTP hideouts and hand over the group’s members to Pakistan,” the interior minister had said.
