Viral violinist Lindsey Stirling is bringing a dose of holiday joy to the UMass Mullins Center on Monday, Nov. 25. The concert is part of Stirling’s Snow Waltz Tour, which got its name from her 2022 chart-topping album. Stirling’s YouTube channel reached 3 million subscribers in 2013. By comparison, she has more than 14 million subscribers today. In her Snow Waltz Tour, Stirling combines dance and acrobatics into her interpretations of holiday favorites like “O Holy Night” and “Joy to the World.”The Snow Waltz concert will start at 8 p.m. Tickets, starting at $58, are available on the Mullins Center website.

Seattle had the lowest rate of diabetes, people who smoke and adults who report being physically inactive in the Forbes analysis. SEATTLE — Seattle is among the five healthiest major cities in the United States, according to a new analysis from Forbes Advisor. Forbes analyzed the 46 most populated cities in the country across eight categories: rate of heart disease deaths, rate of opioid overdoses, diabetes rate, high blood pressure rate, binge drinking rate, obesity rate, smoking rate and rate of adults who report physical inactivity. Seattle had the lowest percentage of diabetes, lowest rate of adults who reported smoking, and lowest rate of people who reported physical inactivity among the cities studied. Also coming in the top five healthiest cities were San Diego and Denver.

In one of its first post-election personnel moves, CNN has promoted David Chalian to svp and Washington, D.C. bureau chief, a key role as the next Trump administration looks to staff up amid the presidential transition frame. In the role, the cable news network says Chalian will now oversee all political coverage for CNN as well as polling, decision desk coverage and political programming. CNN, like all cable and broadcast news networks, is reckoning with the migration of viewers from linear TV to digital. In total, about 42 million viewers watched coverage of across 18 TV networks on Nov. 5, per Nielsen estimates. Meanwhile, YouTube disclosed that 45 million people in the U.S. watched election-related programming on its platform across news sources.
