U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has announced two more arrests in the protest at a church in Minnesota against the immigration enforcement crackdownMINNEAPOLIS -- U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on Monday announced two more arrests following a protest at a Minnesota church against the immigration crackdown, bringing the number of people arrested to nine. The indictment alleges that Richardson traveled to the church with Lemon while he was streaming and that Richardson told Lemon they needed to catch up to the others. It also alleges that Austin stood in the aisles of the church and loudly berated a pastor with questions about Christian nationalism. Court records don't list an attorney for Richardson who could comment on his behalf. Cities Church belongs to the Southern Baptist Convention and lists one of its pastors as David Easterwood, who leads ICE’s St. Paul field office.

Disney’s income before income taxes totaled nearly $3.7 billion, a 1% jump from the same time period last year. The company beat Wall Street estimates for revenue and earnings per share, largely propelled by its theme parks and streaming businesses. Operating income for the company’s international theme parks was up 2% compared with the prior year’s quarter, driven by higher attendance and guest spending. Streaming operating income also grew about $190 million to $450 million, leading to an operating margin of 8.4% for the quarter. The dip in operating income from the entertainment sector took a toll on the company’s total segment operating income, which was down 9% to $4.6 billion.

An Australian snowboarder has died on a trip with friends to Japan after her backpack became caught in a ski lift leaving her suspended in midair, according to Japanese police and the lift operator. Nagano Omachi Police said the 22-year-old tourist suffered from cardiac arrest after the accident on Friday at the Tsugaike Mountain Resort in Hakuba Valley, a popular ski destination in central Japan. The woman was rushed to a hospital but later succumbed to her injuries, according to police and the ski lift operator. I recorded this today, in Portland, Oregon, at a huge march to the ICE facility in SW. So of course ICE deployed tear gas. The tear gas and rubber bullet barrage was reportedly somewhat less intense than the day before, though that's probably because the agents didn't see any children in the crowd. 😒 Meanwhile, the ACLU of Oregon is representing protesters who are now suing the federal government for their dangerous, unnecessary use of tear gas against peaceful protesters.
