Jerusalem —Gaza’s only border crossing with Egypt reopened partially on Monday morning after Israel closed it nearly two years ago, according to an Israeli security official, allowing a small number of Palestinians to enter and leave the war-torn enclave. CNN previously reported that a total of 150 Palestinians would be allowed to leave Gaza through the crossing each day, but only 50 would be allowed to enter. Nearly 1,300 people have died after being forced to wait to leave Gaza for treatment, the ministry said. Before Israel shut the crossing, some Palestinians had reported paying thousands of dollars when it was open, which few can afford. But Israel refused to open the crossing until the return of all living and deceased hostages.

After dramatic, violent escalations in federal raids on immigrant communities and their supporters in Minneapolis and across the country, Americans have been shocked into despair and action. Many artists up for top Grammys have been vocal about their opposition to these raids, but at Sunday’s Grammys, the topic was front and center for many winners in their speeches. I hope everyone is inspired to come together as a community of artists ad speak out against what’s going on.”” F— Ice,” Kehlani added, walking off the stage. If you follow politics closely, you know some of the most powerful ideas in history weren’t just argued — they were designed, printed, and plastered on walls. That’s why I recommend Propaganda Posters, a site that curates and sells some of the most iconic political posters from history. The prints are high quality, richly detailed, and full of bold, vivid color — the kind that immediately draws your eye and holds it. They feel substantial, display beautifully, and turn political history into real, conversation-starting art. If you’re a Political Wire reader who appreciates the power of political messaging, this is a collection worth seeing.
