The Government of Budapest has reaffirmed its unwavering backing to the realistic autonomy plan offered by Morocco for the Sahara under its sovereignty for a lasting and peaceful resolution of this regional dispute. Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune dismissed his prime minister on Saturday, replacing him with a seasoned diplomat, the presidency said. Tebboune named Nadir Larbaoui, currently serving as director of the presidential cabinet, to replace Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane. Before heading Tebboune’s cabinet, Larbaoui was a longstanding diplomat, having served as Algeria’s permanent representative to the United Nations and in multiple ambassador posts. Benabderrahmane served as prime minister since June 2021. But according to the Algerian news website Interlignes, “a change in the executive has been in the air for some time”.

Indians investing in Dubai real estateIndians have emerged as the largest investors in Dubai's real estate market. Morocco’s largest mining company, Managem, categorically rejected allegations spread by German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung regarding its Abou Azzer cobalt mine. The allegations were related to arsenic levels due to mine operations and labor standards. “No Arsenic-related occupational illnesses have been identified, nor any Arsenic-related illnesses in the Bou-Azzer mine region have been reported,” it said. Managem added that it applies the highest international environmental protection standards. The Moroccan government is considering the creation of defense industry zones as the country seeks to reduce its dependence on imports and create local military industry clusters.
