Nahid Islam, convener of the National Citizen Party (NCP) and a candidate for the Dhaka-11 constituency under the Shapla Koli symbol, has alleged that India is once again interfering in Bangladesh’s election process. He claimed that Indian diplomats have been making various unwarranted remarks and said India had supported what he described as vote-rigging elections by the Awami League in the past and was attempting similar interference this time. Nahid made the remarks on Wednesday while campaigning and carrying out public outreach in the Malibagh area of the capital. Winter Storm Fern developed in part from an upper-level low — a closed and circulating whirlpool of cold air — off the California and Mexico coast on Jan. 22. Cornell climatologist Jessica Spaccio, Earth and atmospheric sciences, explained to The Sun why Winter Storm Fern was so unique. I was expecting something similar with Nightshade, but whereas Greenteeth was sunlight filtering through the leaves, Nightshade was the pounding rain that tears through empty branches. Set in Roman-occupied Britain, Nightshade & Oak follows Mallt y Nos, a goddess of death in Celtic folklore, who is turned mortal by a wayward spell. Hence transforming Annwn from the Otherworld to the land of the dead works and better supports the plot of Nightshade. In Nightshade, O'Neill reverses days and nights so that when the sun sets in the mortal world, it rises in Annwn. Nightshade & Oak reminded me that strength means something different to each person, but it is important to remember that strength also looks like surviving.
