An Ethiopian industry institution has revealed that coffee exports have earned the African country over $835 million in revenue over the past nine months. Data from the ECTA revealed that China, the United Arab Emirates and Sudan are becoming top destinations and massive importers of Ethiopian coffee. They have been the major destinations of Ethiopia’s coffee exports over the years. Ethiopia is globally recognized as the home of Arabica coffee, a distinct strain of coffee found almost exclusively in the country. Ethiopian coffee is globally renowned for its richness and variety, making it a hot demand in countries like China, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, the United States, Germany, and Japan.

The U.K.'s national coronavirus immunization program in 2021 heavily relied on AstraZeneca's vaccine, which was largely developed by scientists at Oxford University with significant financial government support. But even Britain later resorted to buying the mRNA vaccines for its COVID booster vaccination programs and the AstraZeneca vaccine is now rarely used globally.

Rescue teams searching for dozens of construction workers missing after an apartment complex collapsed in South Africa brought out more survivors Tuesday as they entered a second night of desperate work to find anyone alive in the wreckage. Once the dogs verify that there's somebody, we have high-tech equipment that we can start triangulating and pinpointing where the victim is trapped, and then from there, we start working. Rescuers were hopeful of more people being found alive after saying earlier that they had made contact with at least 11 workers trapped in the rubble and were communicating with them.
