However, the Defense Force is said to have control of the Ambasel Mountain from which it is shelling Wuchale town. The Wollo area of the Amhara region – especially the north part- has recently seen recurring fighting between the Fano Forces and government forces. Other media outlets with links in the Amhara region have been reporting recurring clashes between Fano forces and government forces in Gojam, Shewa, and Gondar as well.
