Beed News गेवराई तहसील के चकलांबा पुलिस थाना क्षेत्र में रेत तस्करी पर कार्रवाई न करने के लिए 50 हजार रुपये की रिश्वत लेते हुए पुलिस निरीक्षक और एक पुलिस कर्मचारी को एसीबी ने 10 मार्च को मंगलवार की देर रात करीब 10 बजे दोनो को गिरफ्तार किया। इस कार्रवाई से पुलिस प्रशासन में खलबली मच गई है।मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, रेत से भरे वाहनों को बिना कार्रवाई के चलने देने के बदले शिकायतकर्ता से चकलांबा पुलिस थाने के पुलिस निरीक्षक संदीप पाटिल और पुलिस कर्मचारी विनोद सुरवसे ने हर महीने 60 हजार रुपये की रिश्वत की मांग की थी। बाद में समझौते के बाद 50 हजार रुपये देने पर सहमति बनी।तय योजना के अनुसार कर्मचारी विनोद सुरवसे उमापुर पुलिस थाने के पास रिश्वत की रकम लेने के लिए मौजूद था। इसी दौरान एसीबी की टीम ने जाल बिछाकर उसे 50 हजार रुपये लेते हुए रंगे हाथ पकड़ लिया।इधर, मामले के मुख्य आरोपी पुलिस निरीक्षक संदीप पाटिल को जब कर्मचारी के पकड़े जाने की जानकारी मिली तो उसने चकलांबा पुलिस थाने से भागने की कोशिश की। संदेह होने पर एसीबी टीम ने उसका पीछा किया और कुछ दूरी पर पकड़ लिया।इस कार्रवाई के बाद मंगलवार देर रात सहायक पुलिस निरीक्षक सचिन इंगले को चकलांबा पुलिस थाने का अस्थायी प्रभार सौंप दिया गया है।बताया जा रहा है कि इससे पहले भी रेत वसूली के मामलों में पाटोदा, माजलगांव और गेवराई पुलिस स्टेशनों के कुछ कर्मचारियों के नाम सामने आ चुके हैं। अब थाना प्रभारी अधिकारी के रिश्वत लेते पकड़े जाने से पुलिस विभाग की कार्यप्रणाली पर फिर सवाल खड़े हो गए हैं।गौरतलब है कि हाल ही में विशेष पुलिस महानिरीक्षक वीरेंद्र मिश्रा ने वार्षिक निरीक्षण के दौरान भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी थी। वहीं जिला पुलिस अधीक्षक नवनीत कावत ने भी ‘नो करप्शन’ नीति को सख्ती से लागू करने की बात कही थी। इसके बावजूद चकलांबा पुलिस स्टेशन में यह मामला सामने आने से पुलिस विभाग में चर्चा का माहौल है।
