'Don't mess it up,' I said to myself as I collected my first order as a delivery driver before stashing it towards the back of my massively oversized bag. It was day one on the job working as a cyclist for Uber Eats, long before my words appeared on the pages of this newspaper. Users of the app have complained of drivers not matching their profile picture, with some promised a female driver only for a man to turn up instead. Matt Stevens ordered a takeaway to his home in Greenwich, London and saw a female driver on the app. An Uber Eats spokesperson said: 'Uber Eats is committed to building the best platform for all customers and we take appropriate action in the rare event a courier breaches our community guidelines.

Munster GAA is in the process of carrying out a feasibility study into the cost and potential location of a new dome, provincial chairman Tim Murphy has confirmed. “We are doing a feasibility study on it at the moment in relation to a) where it might be located and b) the costs associated with it,” the Munster GAA chairman told the Irish Examiner. While Munster GAA have not yet arrived at an approximate cost figure, Murphy said it will be well north of what their Connacht counterparts forked out. And obviously there has been inflation since the Connacht dome was built, so it certainly would cost more, but what figure, we haven't got to that point yet.”While the construction of a Munster GAA dome is a “priority”, it is not a “short-term objective”. The dome is certainly a priority, but it is probably more a medium-to-long-term priority once the six counties are sorted.”The Connacht GAA air dome is expected to be operational in April following extensive storm damage last year.

Batches of Aptamil infant formula are being recalled in Ireland, despite earlier assurances that the product had not been distributed in the country. It said the affected batches of infant formula and follow-on formula had instead been exported to a number of EU countries, the UK and other third countries. An ingredient, ARA oil, which was manufactured in China, was contaminated with cereulide and added as an ingredient in base powder used to make infant formula and follow-on formula. "In light of the current situation in the industry, some local food safety authorities are evolving their guidance. This does not impact any other Danone products in the Irish market and our infant formula products can be purchased and used as normal.

Dan Skelton believes The New Lion threw his hat “firmly in the ring” for the Unibet Champion Hurdle with victory at Cheltenham on Saturday. “I don’t think what I saw on Saturday means it is any easier or harder to win a Champion Hurdle, but what I do think is now we’ve had a great preparation for it,” he told the Nick Luck Daily podcast. “There’s more emphasis on speed on the Old course (in the Champion Hurdle) but I think he’s answered the speed question for me. Bear in mind I’ve never won a Champion Hurdle but I feel he’s a faster horse than ever this year and, for me, Champion Hurdles are won through stamina because you have to see it out really well. “Whilst it is no easier or harder to win a Gold Cup - it was always going to be hard - we certainly didn’t leave our Gold Cup there on Saturday.”

The Bar Council is not keen on Government measures to introduce a scale of fees to be applied in certain environmental judicial reviews. This normally involves the project’s opponents seeking a judicial review of the process in the courts. The Government now wants to introduce a scale of fees to be applied in certain environmental judicial reviews. In adopting this somewhat maximalist position, the Bar Council seems to have failed to read the room. The Bar Council is a trade union with a penchant for fancy dress.
