New York Giants owner John Mara was an unexpected guest at the NFL's Annual League Meeting on Sunday, as he continues his brutal battle with cancer. One face who won't be in town, though, is Mara's Giants co-owner Steve Tisch, as controversy continues to swirl after he was named in the Epstein Files in January. The Giants co-owner, 77, has denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein and released a statement expressing his remorse for their relationship. In one email exchange revealed in the files, Tisch asked Epstein if a woman was 'pro or civilian.' Despite Tisch's absence and the controversy surrounding him, it is expected to be an exciting season for the New York Giants following the arrival of John Harbaugh as head coach.

Long-term cannabis use changes the structure of the brain and leaves users demotivated and unable to make decisions, a study suggests. Cannabis can be legally prescribed in Britain for some medical conditions and is often viewed as low-risk or harmless by recreational users. Leader author Ana Aquino-Servin said the findings mean that regular, heavy users of cannabis may find it hard to be motivated to do complex tasks. “Maybe they [regular cannabis users] don’t have a big struggle to do [tasks], but maybe the brain needs to do more work to do it. The analysis revealed the brain was thinner in the right rostral middle frontal cortex in people who had smoked cannabis daily for at least five years.

Thomas Tuchel has admitted that the mass withdrawal of Arsenal players from international camps looks 'suspicious' but is adamant that England duo Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka are genuinely too injured to feature against Japan at Wembley on Tuesday night. Rice and Saka have returned to their club without kicking a ball for England after reporting for duty to watch last Friday’s draw with Uruguay. But both players left camp over the weekend along with club mate Noni Madueke, who was injured during the Uruguay game. Asked about it by talkSPORT today, Tuchel said: ‘Everyone can do the math and it's a lot of players, of course. Some of the injured players even stayed to start their treatment here.
