To all the world, 'The Golf Open' looks like a standard mid-terraced house - but looks can be deceiving. Located on a quiet street on the outskirts of Southport, the converted property is rented out to holidaymakers regularly and many locals can't fathom why after seeing inside. On Airbnb, the property is described as a 'stunning villa with garden' with pictures showing a large outside terrace at the back of the building complete with fake grass. The listing states that a two-night stay at the villa would cost a couple £2960. The house has been painstakingly converted into three flats but its the decor that has really got people talking.

Tottenham fans taunt Thomas Frank with brutal sack chants despite late Burnley equaliserBURNLEY 2-2 TOTTENHAM: Thomas Frank watched his Spurs side grab a dramatic late equaliser at Turf Moor, but that wasn't enough to satisfy the vocal away supportView 2 Images Cristian Romero scored late on to earn Tottenham a point at Burnley (Image: )When Cristian Romero’s sensational header ripped past Martin Dubravka, Thomas Frank’s face barely flickered. He knows a late, late equaliser at Turf Moor is not the sort of moment a Spurs manager should be celebrating. Even so, Frank left the field to the sound of his own fans telling him he faces the prospect of being sacked very, very soon. As honest as they are, this really is a limited Burnley outfit but they sensed a laziness about the visitors’ approach. ‌It still didn’t stop the Spurs fans telling Frank that his football “is s***” and it might not keep him in a job.

The northern lights were visible even from the suburbs below the Dublin mountains this week, with people all over the capital turning their gaze to the sky. In Rathfarnham, however, people have spent the past year gazing on a far more depressing light-related sight: a brand-spanking-new apartment block with just a few lights turned on each night. Despite being bought with taxpayers’ money in the midst of a housing crisis, the pristine apartment block has yet to be occupied. The administrative delay in taking over the 37 apartments in the Loreto Gate complex has been described by local council officials as “extraordinary”.

Aussies are queuing around the block just to get a glimpse of an extremely rare flower which has just bloomed, but there's a twist - it smells like rotting flesh. The giant, foul-smelling plant, the Titan Arum, has become a novelty for those visiting the Adelaide Botanic Garden since it was opened to the public on Saturday morning. The flower, nicknamed 'Smellanie' and 'corpse flower' by staff at the garden, is the result of a 20-year conservation effort where ideal conditions for the flower to bloom were recreated. The breed of flower is native to Sumatra, in Indonesia's west, and is one of the world's largest flowering plants. Botanic experts have advised visitors that the plant's aroma will peak within 12-24 hours of its initial bloom.
