I tested 5 supermarket milk chocolate bars against Dairy MilkWith Easter just a week away, I tested milk chocolate bars from Tesco, Sainsbury's, Aldi, M&S and Morrisons against Cadbury Dairy Milk - and in my opinion, all the supermarket own-brand options tasted betterView 6 Images Smooth milk chocolate is a treat I love to enjoy, but which one came out best? ‌While browsing online reviews of supermarket chocolate bars, I spotted that several shoppers had written that many own-brand bars actually surpassed Dairy Milk for flavour. The Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Bar 180g is priced at £2.75 (at Tesco ), and aside from M&S, all four other supermarket chocolate bars of the same or slightly larger size are cheaper than Dairy Milk. A smooth, creamy milk chocolate is hard to beat, and Morrisons Chunk, boasting a minimum of 30% cocoa solids, arguably delivers a superior taste to Dairy Milk chocolate. Cadbury Dairy Milk, meanwhile, lists palm oil as an ingredient in its milk chocolate bars sold across Europe, though this appears not to be the case for Cadbury Dairy Milk bars sold in the US or Australia.

Tiger Woods' latest arrest could not have come at a worse time for the world of golf with the legend scheduled for a high-profile appearance this week. He was booked in jail on Friday afternoon and had his latest mugshot taken before being released later that night. The arrest came just over a week before Woods as reportedly scheduled to return to Augusta amid heightened speculation that he could make a comeback at this year's Masters tournament. Government plans to weaken access to judicial reviews will damage women fleeing domestic abuse, access to education, and climate accountability, a community law centre has said. Community Law & Mediation are the latest body to hit out at the proposals contained in the Civil Reform Bill, and said the judicial review system, as it currently exists, is a “vital last resort” for people to challenge wrong decisions, uphold their rights, and hold the State to account. “Weakening judicial review will not improve efficiency, it will instead entrench poor decision-making and reduce accountability in public bodies,” its chief executive Aoife Kelly-Desmond said. “In line with recent statements by Government, the minister identifies judicial review as a barrier to the delivery of key infrastructure and housing,” it said. “[We also] issued judicial review proceedings challenging the lawfulness of a local authority’s refusal of our client’s application for a priority transfer,” it said.

The flag of a ship used in a daring rescue of six Fenian prisoners in Australia will go on public view next month to mark the 150th anniversary of the jailbreak. The Catalpa whaling ship was used when six Fenian leaders — including two from Cork and one Limerick man — were broken out of custody in Fremantle in Western Australia in April 1876. A series of events is currently running in Fremantle to mark the anniversary. However, no national commemorative events have been planned in Ireland, apart from the public display of the flag of the Catalpa ship, which took the rescued men to the US. However, he said no application for a presidential pardon for the Catalpa Six had been received.

If you are new to the world of wild food, then the shore is a great place to gather tasty food with confidence. Other succulent coastal plants are less familiar, but equally nourishing. Closer inspection reveals thousands of juicy little shoots, miracles of resilience and ingenuity, able to withstand regular immersion by the sea, coastal exposure and the ever-changing nature of their coastal home. In my book, I cover 25 of the most rewarding and accessible, as well as coastal plants and a dozen common, but not widely appreciated, shellfish. His new book, The Coastal Forager, explores dozens of edible coastal plants, seaweed and shellfish, and how to safely and responsibly harvest and cook them.

Opposition parties have criticised moves by the Government to allow households to rent out modular cabins at the back of their homes and get up to €14,000 in rent tax free. The rent-a-room scheme is due to be extended to include modular cabins, with the Government preparing to remove the need for planning permission for small houses in gardens. One government source said the decision to expand the rent-a-room scheme to back garden modular cabins came following public consultation. Housing charity Threshold previously raised concerns about modular cabins being used for rentals, saying it carried “serious risks”. Mr Sheehan said many individuals in the rent-a-room scheme are under licence agreements, which do not have as strong protections as tenancy agreements.
