But Ilia Ponamarev, an exiled Russian opposition politician with previous links to the Legion, has told the BBC he is "certain, alas" that Dadin is dead. So when I learned that Dadin had joined a battalion of Russian volunteers fighting for Ukraine, I got back in touch earlier this year and we had a series of long exchanges. Not whilst Ukrainians were being killed, as he put it, "by Russian criminals".

Zhenliubao claimed that since 2008, dozens of comic artists have lived in dormitories converted from a livestock factory, sharing communal spaces and using unisex bathrooms. On Sept 24, current A-soul employee Liu Ke, better known by his pen name Jileniao, released a statement supporting the studio. Ranked ninth on the 2013 China Comic Artists’ Rich List, Liu earned 2.15 million yuan (US$305,000) in royalties that year.
Former Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka has declined President William Ruto’s appointment as head of the Animal Genetic Resource Centre. In a statement, Munyaka said he would not accept the appointment due to the role due to the current political climate. “However, after soul-searching, extensive consultations and in consideration of the current political climate that threatens the realization of the government's economic transformation agenda, I have made the difficult decision to respectfully decline this appointment,” Munyaka said. He further thanked the President for trusting him to serve the country as the chairman of the Animal Genetic Resource Centre. The mayor of the capital of Mexico's violence-plagued state of Guerrero was killed on Sunday less than a week after he took office, the state's governor confirmed. Alejandro Arcos was killed just six days after he took office as mayor of the city of Chilpancingo, a city of around 280,000 people in southwestern Mexico. Arcos' death comes just three days after the new city government's secretary, Francisco Tapia, was shot to death. Guerrero has become one of the deadliest states for aspiring and elected public officials, as well as for journalists. At least six candidates for public office were killed in the state in the run-up to Mexico's June 2 elections.
