The body of marathoner Kelvin Kiptum has left his Chepsamo home for the Chepkorio showground where a funeral service is set to be conducted. The High Court has ruled that prisoners and detainees have the right to attend funerals of their loved ones. In a victory for people serving sentences in prisons and detention centres, Justice Lawrence Mugambi said prisoners had a right to be treated humanely, including being allowed to attend the funerals of their loved ones. However, the judge said the right was not absolute and the request could be denied depending on the circumstances. In a filing Thursday, UHG blamed the ongoing cybersecurity incident affecting Change Healthcare on suspected nation state hackers but said it had no timeframe for when its systems would be back online. UHG did not attribute the cyberattack to a specific nation or government, or cite what evidence it had to support its claim. Change Healthcare provides patient billing across the U.S. healthcare system. Change Healthcare has not yet disclosed the specific nature of its cyberattack.
