Ryan Walker’s 2025 season was certainly a warning that the end might be closer than he thinks and the Giants had hoped. If this seems a little too harsh for a player review, know that I have the “relievers are fungible” thought in my brain all the time. And then there’s this survey of what has been written about Ryan Walker over the years on this very site:“[T]here are plenty of reasons to feel confident in Ryan Walker as the San Francisco Giants closer in 2025. Ryan Walker has come into Spring Training believing that he’s ironed them out and wants the closer role. LOADING ERROR LOADINGNo parent wants to even entertain the idea that their child could end up swallowing something as dangerous as a button battery – but unfortunately, it happens. Button batteries can be found in watches, calculators, remote controls, key fobs, electronic toys and even greetings cards. Sometimes kids might swallow the battery when parents aren’t looking, or in another room. Tape down battery compartments, if possible, and keep watches and key fobs out of sight and reach of children.

And once you combine that with the lemon juice and the Parmesan, it becomes a beautiful velvety sauce. Top it with burrata and lemon zest and basil, and eat it with some crusty bread.
