Colon cancer at 48. Might be time to adjust the screening recommendations. Or just pony up the cash and get one on your own at 40 years old. Probably should do a upper endoscopy looking for esophageal cancer too. Both of those are big problems if not caught early.

At some point in the next two and a half months, the Minnesota Vikings will have to make a decision on the fifth-year option on the rookie contract of wide receiver Jordan Addison. Picking up that option is never cheap for any player, but for Addison it isn’t quite as bad as it potentially could have been. The folks over at Spotrac have their estimates for the fifth-year option cost for each player selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and have projected Addison’s price tag to come in at $17.579 million. If the Vikings were to pick up that option, that salary would be fully guaranteed for the 2027 season. As a Tier 3 player, the price for Addison’s fifth-year option is equal to the average salary of the third through twentieth-highest paid players at his position, which is how Spotrac arrived at the figure that they did.

WATCH HEREImageOn Redactions in the Epstein Files:“I am going in later this week, probably Thursday, maybe Friday, to review the unredacted Epstein files. So this all reeks of a cover-up right now and we need to release the entire Epstein files. That is why we've been seeking the Epstein files for months and months now, because the person at the heart of this is a known liar.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, second right, speaks alongside President Trump before the signing of a funding bill. How else to explain his persistent claim there’s something sinister and nefarious about the way California casts and counts its election ballots? AdvertisementWith an apparent eye toward rigging the 2026 midterm election, Trump suggested Republicans should “take over the voting” in at least “15 places,” which, presumably, would all be Democratic strongholds. I mean, they hold the elections open for weeks after election day,” Johnson told reporters. The state allows those ballots to arrive and be counted up to seven days after the election, so long as they are postmarked on or before election day.
