50 finalists selected for 2024 Africa’s Business Heroes competition


Fifty finalists have been selected as finalists for the fifth edition of the Africa’s Business Heroes initiative, a philanthropic programme to support African entrepreneurs. The Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) competition is a philanthropic programme supported by the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Philanthropy to honour and elevate African entrepreneurs. After receiving around 20,000 applications from all 54 African countries, 50 finalists have now been selected for this year’s edition. This year, we are thrilled to recognise the exceptional talent and potential of the top 50 finalists, who embody the diverse entrepreneurial spirit of our continent,” said Zahra Baitie-Boateng, managing director for Africa at Africa’s Business Heroes Initiative.
