The 33-year-old tendered his resignation to the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC) on Sept 9 after being told that he would not be considered for team selection for the World Championships in Dubai from Nov 6-15. “The Covid-19 pandemic has made things even tougher for us bowlers as we lost our main source of income due to the lack of tournaments.”Adrian said he could not comprehend why MTBC denied him a chance to fight for his place for the World Championships. “I have won gold in all official Games and tournaments... the World Championships, Asian Games, Asian Championships, SEA Games. “I was in my best form between 2008 and 2011 as I also won the 2010 Asian Games (in Guangzhou) with Alex Liew (in men’s doubles). The 2018 World Championships (in Hong Kong) completed the collection for me, it took quite a while, but I certainly didn’t mind!
