Mounting debt emerging as a possible motive behind murdersJAIPUR: Police investigating the Kardhani quadruple murder suspect that accused Rahul Jha (45) may have incapacitated his wife and three daughters with poison or sedatives before killing them with a single blow each to the head. “He attacked all victims with a single blow to their heads, as opposed to multiple blows,” said an officer.Froth was found around victims’ mouths, prompting investigators to examine whether a poisonous substance or sedative mixed with food was given to them. Police suspect Rahul may have checked on the four after they fell unconscious and realised they were still alive. Investigators have learnt that Rahul’s wife, Geeta, was also named as a partner in the ownership documents of the house. Multiple teams are tracking his movements through CCTV footage and other evidence.
