British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, accompanied by Farouk Al-Najah, the Political Affairs Advisor at the embassy, visited the Misrata Free Zone (MFZ) yesterday. She was received by MFZ Chairman, Mohsen Al-Sagutri and the MFZ General Manager, Ayman Al-Darwish. The Director of the Media Office at the Misrata Free Zone (MFZ), Alaeddin Baba, said in his exclusive statement to the Libya Herald, that the discussion focused on inviting British companies to invest in the MFZ and benefit from the advantages and exemptions for the British investor. 33 investment requests in MFZ during 2022The MFZ Media Director highlighted the continuing investment requests by local and foreign companies and investors to establish their investments and businesses in the MFZ, totalling 33 investment requests in 2022. Meanwhile, he revealed, the consideration of investment requests for this year are underway, for approval to grant them permission to set up their operations in the MFZ.
